Saturday/Sunday

The Massachusetts Independent Comics Expo (MICE)
Saturday 10am – 6pm
Sunday 11am – 5pm

MICE is one of the best indie comics shows in the country (and Alexander’s personal favorite–he exhibited there almost every year since its founding.), with over 200 individual artists exhibiting their comics, mini-comics, and graphic novels. MICE is also our official host show, and has played a big role in making PodTales possible–including inspiring us to attempt this festival in the first place!

Sunday

Night Vale Presents:
Start with This
7:00 – 9:00

Come see the first ever live show for Start With This, on Sunday, October 20th!

Start With This is a podcast gone creativity playground designed to put your ideas in motion, from the creators of Welcome to Night Vale, Joseph Fink and Jeffrey Cranor. Each episode centers around a topic from world building, to opening lines, and even failure. Then they give listeners two short assignments: something to consume and something to create. Join the Start With This membership forum to share your work with other listeners. You might just find a creative partner in the process. Jeffrey and Joseph want you to start creating, one assignment at a time because the best way to start writing, is to start writing. Not sure where to begin? Start With This.
