PODTALES NEEDS PARTNERS LIKE YOU TO SUCCEED
PodTales actively seeks to connect with businesses and institutions for partners and sponsors. We believe that building strong relationships like these are a vital part of fostering a sustainable artistic community.
AUDIENCE
Students | By partnering with Sarah Lawrence College, including coordinating our programming with the curricular aims of Sarah Lawrence College, we guarantee a large audience of students age 18 – 22, many of whom are themselves current or future podcasters. |
Podcasters | PodTales will showcase dozens of working podcast creators, all of whom are actively engaged in podcast creation, marking them as a motivated, creative, and media and tech-savvy demographic. Programming will serve to draw many more podcasters interested in advancing their craft as attendees. |
Podcast Fans | This incredibly fast-growing market is comprised of dedicated and tech-savvy media consumers, many of whom will eventually launch podcasts of their own. |
Creatives | Podcasting engages creative practitioners of all types, including writers, actors, directors, sound designers, musicians, etc. |
Past PodTales Attendees | Last year, PodTales hosted more than 700 exhibitors, guests, and attendees. |
MEDIA & PROMOTION
Partnership with The Sarah Lawrence College International Audio Fiction Award – In addition to our own promotion, PodTales will benefit from inclusion in publicity for The Sarahs International Audio Fiction Award.
Promotion Across the Fable & Folly Fiction Podcast Network – Fable and Folly is a network of 17+ podcasts, drawing over a quarter of a million downloads every month. Fable and Folly will promote PodTales in the podcast feeds of member shows throughout the week leading up to the show.
Social Media – PodTales organizers will tap into their existing social media audiences of 5,000+ followers, and will extend that reach through existing ties to the larger fiction podcasting community, who are eager to support a show of this type.
Podcast Advertising – PodTales will be promoted through advertising on organizers’ own shows, such as the audio drama Greater Boston (5,000+ listeners), as well as through advertising and appearances on additional popular podcasts, focussing on shows with strong local interest to the greater Boston area.
