Description:

When choosing a game system for actual play, Dungeons & Dragons is the most popular system, but is D&D the best choice for creating a narrative for an audience? How do the mechanics of play influence the development of character and story? How can your choice of game system reflect the values that inform your game play? Our panelists will discuss working within the structures of popular systems, as well as the narrative opportunities offered by innovative indie systems by creators from marginalized backgrounds.

This panel will be live-streamed on YouTube with live closed captioning and an ASL interpreter. A link to the stream will be made available on the day of the event.
